On Deja Vu

Deja Vu is an odd experience that most people have experienced at least once in their lives. The term was actually coined by a french man Emile Boirac in his book, “The Future of Psychic Sciences,” in the late 19th century. The term itself is french for, “already seen” and in Boirac’s book it is described as a symptom of extra-sensory perception.

So what exactly is the experience? Man, has been fascinated by Déjà vu, as well as coincidence, for many years. Is it merely a similarity of events that the mind brings together subconsciously as a feeling or thought of remembrance? Perhaps, even more amazing possibility is that it is exactly as the translation says; something already seen, or rather something already that has already occurred. God transcends time and would not be bound by it, seeing all that happens within our brief timeline. Could we at rare times, see through the eyes of God and see that which He has planned and is currently occurring? Seeing both the event by the Lord and experiencing it within physicality, may produce such an effect. Moreover, could it also be said that experiencing a moment of Déjà vu is a confirmation that we are exactly where the Lord wants us to be, in place, time and action?
